libsdl-console software package provides Console that can be added to any SDL application, libraries, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libsdl-console
libsdl-console is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libsdl-console package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libsdl-console *
You will get with libsdl-console package name, version, architecture and description in a table
